About the Role

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all facilities operations across multiple sites within a defined geographic region. The role ensures that all buildings and services are safe, compliant, fully operational, and aligned with client business requirements.

This position requires strong operational leadership, financial control, supplier management expertise, and a hands-on approach to multi-site facilities management.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

  • Oversee all technical and soft services, including HVAC, MEP systems, cleaning, security, landscaping, pest control, waste management, catering, and related services
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are properly implemented and executed
  • Coordinate with technical teams to respond to breakdowns and emergency incidents

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage site budgets and operational expenditure
  • Monitor costs and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements
  • Review and approve maintenance and service-related invoices

Compliance, Health & Safety

  • Ensure full compliance with local health, safety, environmental, and building regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits across all sites
  • Track and resolve non-compliance issues and safety incidents

Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Manage third-party service providers and subcontractors
  • Oversee contracts, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure performance standards are met
  • Evaluate supplier performance and enforce service quality standards

Site Management & Reporting

  • Conduct regular site inspections and operational reviews
  • Maintain accurate performance reports, dashboards, and facility status updates
  • Act as the main escalation point for site-related issues

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain strong communication with clients, tenants, internal teams, and stakeholders
  • Respond promptly to service requests and resolve operational issues
  • Prepare and present monthly operational and performance reports

Continuous Improvement

  • Implement best practices in facilities management and operational efficiency
  • Drive sustainability and energy-saving initiatives across sites
  • Develop and standardise operational procedures and staff training programs

Risk & Safety Management

  • Ensure business continuity, emergency response, and disaster recovery plans are in place
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures, PPE usage, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses when required
  • Ensure all safety training and compliance requirements are completed by teams and contractors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reporting systems

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5–8 years’ experience in multi-site facilities management
  • Experience managing service providers and subcontractors
  • CAFM system experience is an advantage
