Job Overview

Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join the Bradlows business unit in Richards Bay. The role focuses on driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in a retail environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, identifying their needs, recommending suitable products, and contributing directly to the store’s sales performance and overall business growth.


Key Purpose of the Role

The main objective of this position is to generate revenue and maximise profitability by delivering excellent customer service and achieving consistent sales performance in line with business targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in sales activities to generate revenue and meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate furniture and lifestyle products
  • Promote products through effective merchandising and in-store presentation standards
  • Handle cash and credit transactions in line with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled in a professional, friendly, and customer-focused manner
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented sales floor
  • Support overall store performance by actively participating in promotional campaigns and sales initiatives

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 7–12 months of sales experience, preferably in a retail environment
  • Strong interest in sales and customer service
