Job Overview
The VKB Group, a leading agricultural organisation in South Africa, is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join its NTK Retail division based in Polokwane. This role is essential in ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse and distribution environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting palletised goods, particularly for client dispatch operations. This position requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced retail and logistics setting.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating a forklift
- Valid forklift operator license (or willingness to be re-assessed)
- Code 10 driver’s license with PDP (advantageous)
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
- Traceable work references
Key Responsibilities
The Forklift Driver will be responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics operations, including the safe handling and movement of stock.
Goods Handling and Movement
- Load, lift, and move palletised goods within the warehouse and yard
- Assist in loading trucks for customer dispatch and delivery
- Offload incoming goods and ensure proper placement in storage areas
- Ensure safe handling of all materials to prevent damage or loss
Warehouse Operations Support
- Assist in maintaining order and organisation within the warehouse
- Support inventory flow by moving stock to designated areas
- Ensure correct placement and stacking of goods according to procedures
- Assist with general operational tasks within the warehouse environment
Safety and Compliance
- Operate forklift equipment in accordance with safety regulations
- Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times
- Conduct basic equipment checks before use and report faults immediately
- Ensure compliance with operational and warehouse safety standards
