Core Group, a leading distributor of some of the world’s most recognised and respected technology brands in Sub-Saharan Africa, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join its warehouse operations team in Boksburg.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse processes, accurate inventory control, and efficient coordination of inbound and outbound logistics activities. The successful candidate will play a key administrative role in supporting warehouse operations and maintaining high levels of accuracy across all stock-related systems and processes.

The position is ideal for someone who is structured, process-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail and logistics environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (advantageous)
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory administration role
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and stock control systems
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Syspro system experience is highly advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
  • Familiarity with GRV, GRN, IBT, and e-commerce fulfilment processes (e.g. Takealot)

Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations through effective administration and coordination.

Inventory and Stock Control

  • Manage the full inventory process including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking stock
  • Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies where required
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
  • Optimise warehouse space utilisation and storage efficiency

Warehouse Administration

  • Process and manage GRV (Goods Received Voucher), GRN (Goods Received Note), and IBT (Inter Branch Transfer) transactions
  • Maintain detailed and accurate warehouse records and documentation
  • Capture and manage data related to stock movements and transactions
  • Provide administrative support including filing, reporting, and documentation management

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
  • Support e-commerce fulfilment processes, including Takealot order management
  • Respond to internal and external queries relating to stock availability and deliveries
  • Ensure smooth communication between warehouse and other departments

Reporting and Compliance

  • Generate regular warehouse reports including stock levels, orders, and shipment tracking
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, policies, and operational standards
  • Maintain adherence to health, safety, and company regulations
  • Assist in identifying process improvements within warehouse operations
