Role Overview
IIE Rosebank College, part of the ADvTECH Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Academic Operations Administrator to support academic administration processes at campus level. The role focuses on managing student records, assessment administration, and ensuring accurate academic data management in line with institutional standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting academic operations, ensuring efficiency in student administration processes and maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
Key Purpose of the Role
To ensure the accurate administration of student academic records, assessment processes, and related operational activities while supporting campus academic delivery and student service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Student Records & Data Management
- Maintain accurate student records and academic files
- Capture, update, and manage assessment marks and results
- Import and manage academic data on internal systems
- Ensure proper document control and record accuracy
Assessment Administration
- Assist in coordinating assessment cycles and related processes
- Collect, organise, and file student assessments
- Support moderation and academic documentation processes
- Maintain assessment registers and tracking systems
Administrative Support
- Assist with general academic administrative duties
- Support registration processes, orientation, and campus events
- Assist during internal and external audits
- Manage storeroom filing and document archiving
Query Resolution & Communication
- Respond to student and staff academic queries
- Provide timely resolution within set service standards
- Communicate effectively with academic teams and management
Compliance & Operational Support
- Ensure adherence to academic policies and procedures
- Support academic operations to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Diploma/Certificate in Office Administration (NQF Level 6) or related qualification
- 1–2 years’ experience in administrative or client service role
- 1–2 years’ experience within an educational institution (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Working Conditions
