Position Overview

Motus Corporation, through Hyundai South Africa, is seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive for New Vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving vehicle sales, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering an exceptional buying experience from initial contact through to final sale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new vehicle sales opportunities through cold calling, walk-ins, referrals, and networking activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
  • Conduct professional vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives to highlight product features and benefits
  • Provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information on pricing, vehicle availability, specifications, and financing options
  • Liaise with the finance department to facilitate approvals and ensure smooth completion of all sales transactions
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle models, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the entire sales process

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in automotive sales or a similar sales role (new vehicle sales experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on service excellence
  • Competence in using CRM systems and sales tracking tools
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Education

  • Grade 12 / High School Diploma (minimum requirement)
  • A qualification in Business, Sales, or a related field will be an advantage
