Role Overview
Prestige Cosmetics Group, a subsidiary of CAVI Brands and one of Southern Africa’s leading luxury cosmetics distributors, is seeking a Beauty Consultant for the Chanel counter at Woolworths Cavendish in Cape Town.
This role focuses on delivering an exceptional luxury retail experience while driving sales performance and maintaining the high brand standards associated with Chanel. The successful candidate will act as both a brand ambassador and a sales specialist, ensuring customers receive personalised service, expert product advice, and a premium in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the Chanel counter
- Track personal and counter performance against set budgets
- Actively drive product sales through customer engagement and recommendations
- Support promotional events and in-store activations to boost sales performance
- Provide regular feedback on sales performance and customer trends
Brand Representation & Counter Management
- Represent Chanel with professionalism, elegance, and consistency
- Maintain brand image through correct grooming, uniform, and presentation standards
- Ensure all products are merchandised according to strict brand guidelines
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Maintain accurate stock awareness, including tester availability and stock levels
- Report stock shortages and out-of-stock situations promptly
Customer Experience & Relationship Building

- Submit weekly performance reports to the Retail Development Manager
- Maintain and update client records and customer profiles
- Ensure accurate administrative record keeping for all sales activities
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work closely with retail and in-store colleagues to achieve shared sales goals
- Support new team members with onboarding and training where required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Woolworths store staff
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential)
- Previous retail experience required
- Experience in skincare, beauty, or cosmetics sales (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of customer service in a retail environment
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and peak trading periods
