Fidelity Services Group is seeking a skilled and reliable CIT (Cash-in-Transit) Controller to join its Pietermaritzburg branch. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination of fleet operations, secure handling of sensitive information, and real-time monitoring of CIT activities.

Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the CIT Controller is to ensure efficient coordination of daily fleet schedules, maintain constant communication with drivers, and oversee the secure movement of cash-in-transit vehicles.
You will act as the central point of control, ensuring that all operations run smoothly, safely, and according to company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring operations, including:
Operational Control & Monitoring:
- Preparing and coordinating fleet departures
- Monitoring CIT schedules throughout the day
- Tracking vehicle movements by receiving updates from drivers hourly
- Issuing OTC (One-Time Codes) to drivers securely
Communication & Coordination:
- Maintaining constant communication with all drivers
- Liaising with branch management regarding operational updates
- Ensuring all client schedules are collected and executed on time
Administration & Documentation:
- Managing all operational documentation and administrative duties
- Maintaining accurate records of fleet movements and activities
- Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
Security & Surveillance:
- Monitoring CCTV systems
- Ensuring access control and adherence to security procedures
- Supporting basic client liaison when required
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following:
- Clear criminal record
- At least 1 year of control room experience (security industry preferred)
- Computer literacy (essential)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Clear disciplinary record
Advantageous:
- PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification
